The devil is in the details, when you get designs from me, I will not only be considering the look of the model, but also how it will be manufactured. Every manufacturing process has specifications for wall thickness, draft angles, enclosed cavities etc (DFM), that need to be followed to ensure that-
a) the item can be manufactured using the most efficient manufacturing processes
b) it will be strong and durable while using the least amount of material
I'm especially familiar with DFM for 3D printing (both Resin and FDM) as I run a 3D printing service in my region.
